Britton M. Marsh, DDS

I grew up in Torrington, graduating from THS in 2006, and then attended the University of Wyoming receiving a B.S. in Physiology in 2010. I completed my dental education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry graduating with my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. While in school, I gained extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry and was taught using the latest advancements in technology, techniques, and materials. I enjoy orthodontics, implantology and restorative dentistry, but my greatest joy comes from interacting with and caring for my patients.

I was actively involved in the American Student Dental Association and American Dental Education Association while in school, serving as both a local and national representative. I am currently a member of the Wyoming Dental Association and chair its New Dentist Committee, American Dental Association, American Equilibration Society, and a fellow of the American College of Dentists and Academy of General Dentistry. I also serve as state President of the AGD and state delegate for the WDA. I have completed the curriculum for The Dawson Academy and Gerety Orthodontic Seminars.

Locally, I enjoy being involved in multiple organizations having served as past-president of the Torrington Legion Baseball board and the Goshen County 2-Shot and Health Advisory boards. I am also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Torrington Rotary Club. It is a true honor and pleasure to give back to our great community.

Dr. Marsh and his family enjoy waterskiing and going to Lake Guernsey, University of Wyoming fall football games, and traveling.

Lance J. Lucas, DDS

I was raised in Wheatland, Wyoming and graduated from Wheatland High School in 2014. I attended Doane University in eastern Nebraska earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology while on a wrestling scholarship. I received my dental education from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry graduating in 2022. Adaptability, positivity, and relationship building has provided me with the skills to give the best dental care I can. Through a range of practical experiences, I have grown a desire in restorative dentistry, digital dentistry, patient education, and dental health promotion. These strengths, combined with my passion for dentistry, have created a solid foundation for me to build on and contribute to an energetic and team-driven work culture.

During my time at UNMC, I volunteered at Clinic With A Heart, a dental clinic that provides dental care to the underserved community. I also participated in Dental Day, a day when the school provides dental care to underserved elementary students. I was a member of the American Student Dental Association, and a student member of the Academy of General Dentistry. I am currently a member of the Wyoming Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.

During my time at Doane University, I met my wife, Paige. We have been married for four years and have a son, Maximilian, and a daughter, Josie. Paige won the NAIA National Championship in the Pentathlon her freshman year. After graduating from Doane with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Society, she received her bachelors in nursing from UNMC College of Nursing in 2020. We love to spend our time at the lake, hiking, and camping. We are actively involved in our church and are both enthusiastic about sports.

We are excited to make Torrington home, and I look forward to the opportunity to be your dentist at Platte River Family Dentistry.

Julie Youtz C.D.A.

I am a dental assistant here at Family Dentistry. I have been in dentistry for over 30 years. I started with Family Dentistry in 1985. I am also the inventory coordinator for all of our dental supplies.

Valerie Grant, C.D.A.

I attended Eastern Wyoming College. I have been a Certified Dental Assistant for over 40 years, taking my certification exam in 1978. As an assistant, preparing mounted study models is one of my areas of expertise.

Tisha Duffield - Dental Assistant

I grew up in the panhandle of Nebraska and have lived here in Torrington since the summer of 2010. I started as an assistant here at Platte River Family Dentistry in late September 2020. I am truly grateful to be here, where I work with an incredible group of people and have the opportunity to work with amazing patients. I enjoy getting to help bring smiles to their faces and look forward to meeting new patients while getting to know our current ones.

Sahala Erikson - Dental Assistant

I am a Dental Assistant here at Platte River Family Dentistry. After graduating from Torrington High School in 2018, I completed a dental assisting education program. I joined the team here in July of 2019. Though I’m fairly new to dentistry, I love caring for patients and being a part of the life changing results that having a healthy mouth brings. I am looking forward to expanding my dental education and being part of the team here at Platte River Family Dentistry.

Kylee Kisler - Dental Hygienist

I was raised on a ranch in the northeastern corner of Montana having grown up with a love for beading, ranching, running, and puzzles. I moved to Sheridan, Wyoming for college where I received my associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene while at the same time completing my bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene through the University of Wyoming. My hygienist growing up was the one that helped me find my way into the dental world, and I could not be more thankful for her. I knew I wanted to live in a smaller town where the community felt more like a family. My sister went to college in Torrington and that is how I found my way here. Along the way, I have made many friends. I started working as a dental hygienist here in September of 2021 and quickly found I could not ask for a better group of people to work with or more amazing patients. I enjoy meeting new patients and catching up with current ones every day. I truly feel like I have found another family here at Platte River Family Dentistry!

Gabrielle Rader - Dental Hygienist

Hello! My name is Gabrielle Rader, I go by Gabbi, and I am one of the dental hygienists here at Platte River Family Dentistry. I am from Lexington, NE but also spent portions of my life in Bertrand, NE and Wamego, KS. I completed my undergraduate education at Chadron State College in Chadron, NE and my dental hygiene education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Gering, NE. Being in Western Nebraska for the last few years I have found that I love the area and enjoy being in the rural part of the state. I am excited to be a part of Platte River Family Dentistry and look forward to building relationships and providing you and your family with my very best care.

Tracy Flock, C.D.A.

I am the Appointment Coordinator at Platte River Family Dentistry. I received my dental education at Sheridan College, where I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program in 1979. I have been a Certified Dental Assistant since then, and have been a member of Family Dentistry's team since 1981. I assisted in the clinical area for ten years before I took my present position in the business office.

Leslie Gubbels - Office Manager

I am the office manager at Platte River Family Dentistry. I started with Family Dentistry in 2003. I have been in dentistry for over 20 years. The most enjoyable aspects of my job include, information technology, and being the administrative assistant to Dr. Marsh and Dr. Lucas. I help coordinate their projects in organized dentistry and community projects.
